There's no better perspective of Vancouver than that from the water. Eco Marine rents single and double ocean kayaks by the day or by the hour so that you can explore the city's coastline. From its location on Granville Island, you can paddle along the protected shores of False Creek, sharing the water with the AquaBus and Dragon Boat teams. Alternatively, make your way toward the Granville Street Bridge and the open ocean for better views of downtown's skyline. 

Whatever your route, watch out for the river otters - they are very curious and can often be found claiming their stake on a moored sailboat.
